WELCOME! to “Moreau River Quarter Horses”, a division of Simon Ranch Inc., located on the Moreau River @ Zeona, in northwest South Dakota. The ranch was established in 1916 by Jerry’s grandfather, Homer Ayres. We have a working ranch and we use our horses to get the work done.

2014 looks to be a promising year! We will be injecting some Secretariat blood into our mix. We believe the time is right because the gene pool for AQHA is getting too small & we feel it needs a boost. How should we boost the gene pool? Our choice was with the blood of a Triple Crown Winner! His name is "TEMP" & we think "He's gonna get hot!"
