War Horse Farm

For those of you who don't already know us, we're a family-run breeding farm in Northern MN, just outside the big, beautiful Itasca State Park. The Mississippi Headwaters (the start of the Mississippi River) is literally blocks from our home. We are passionate about our horses, our breeding program and the foals that we produce. With every breeding we strive for perfection while often trying to incorporate some uniqueness at the same time. Our horses have

Every year we offer a small number of "War Horse" foals for sale. Being family-run, we try to keep our herd down to a very manageable number as it is extremely important to us that our horses receive one-on-one attention daily and the absolute best care possible. Our babies are handled from the start and well socialized as our goal is to produce and sell a foal that is so wonderful that people want to come back every year for another!

WHF has recently become one of Desert Jewels "Affiliate Farms" and is proud to be able to bring to the Midwest some of the finest Gypsies in the country! In addition to our own horses and sales, we will offer, at all times, a select few of Desert Jewel's horses for sale and possibly at stud. If there are horses at other "Affiliate Farms" in the country that you wish to view here in MN, it is likely that arrangements can be made for that. Our doors are ALWAYS OPEN for you to view any of our horses FOR SALE or AT STUD at ANYTIME! We offer mares in foal, promising, young prospects and a safe and easy IN UTERO purchase plan!
