Thornwood Farm

Our comfortable barn includes a setting surrounded by woods and pastures in Thaxton, VA near Bedford. We would accept any horse that likes a chill crowd of ponies. If your horse needs some love and a great trail location, this location is your barn.

We have the following features:
Box stalls, mats, sawdust, heated buckets, feed tubs, and outlets at each stall.

Small herd size with daily attention, hoof checkups, blanketing (if needed), and feeding.
Round pen, separate room in barn for tack, full kitchen in barn, and in-barn water pumps, and a run in shed outside.
We offer a individually stylized feeding plan for the more natural feeds and supplements, if wanted!

There are other things I'm sure but just call or text and find out! This location is an easy drive down 460 from Lynchburg as well as Roanoke, and perfect for weekend trail rides on your happy pastured horse. I am on location, and have had years of horse experience/lessons/natural horsemanship. There aren't many stalls so get in touch!
