Dedicated to the preservation of The Last Wild Horses of the Northern Plains. In the early 1960's, Theodore Roosevelt National Park was fenced in. A number of bands of wild horses were inadvertently trapped inside it's boundaries. These uniquely hardy and sturdy horses were made up of wild and escaped domestic stock and have since been traced back to Sitting Bulls' War Ponies.
