Stone's Throw Farm and Stone Gate Farm

A Stone's Throw farm is a 32 acre farm connected via beautifully maintained hacking trails to it's sister farm, Stone Gate Farm. Stone Gate Farm is a 182 acre farm in the rolling hills of Columbiana county in NE Ohio. The farm is dedicated to the sport of eventing and the development of horses and riders. SGF is the site of USEF/USEA recognized Horse Trials, in addition to mini-trials, hunter paces, clinics, camps and more. Both Stone's Throw Farm and Stone Gate Farm offer training services such as breaking and starting youngsters, consignment sales, in addition to fine tuning horses for competition of all levels.... (read more) We also offer lessons, and often bring in well known professionals of the sport into our facility for clinics. Stone Gate Farm features it's own cross country course that runs through the preliminary level. The farms are connected by beautifully maintained hacking trails through the woods. Galloping trails also extend over the rolling hills of the farm and around pasture. Stone Gate Farm also features four large sand arenas; two specifically designed for dressage, and two specifically designed for stadium and jumper derby courses.
