SouthLand Stables, L.L.C. is a brand new Hunter/ Jumper facility located in West Mobile, AL. We offer private or small group turnout, full care or partial care for your horse and the best training around. We are located on 20 acres of beautiful farm land and house a small 3 stall barn as well as a brand new 10 stall barn. It includes a climate controlled tack room, office, laundry and feed room as well as an indoor hot/cold wash rack. We do take a select few pasture boarders and have run-in sheds in our paddocks.... (read more) We have a large sand/limestone mix jumping ring with beautiful jumps. SouthLand also has a 20 X 60 meter dressage ring with a sand/euro turf felt mix footing. We offer schooling shows and clinics in both disciplines.
Rachael L. Wilkerson is the head trainer and she was a nationally ranked hunter/ jumper rider as a junior and turned professional at 18. She has ridden for two time Olympic medalist Leslie Burr Howard as well as with Grand Prix rider Kent Farrington. Traveling internationally and showing at Spruce Meadows and Wellington, FL.
Betsie Richards is the barn manager and has over 30 years experience running corporations and is an avid dressage rider. We horse show locally and at "A" rated shows per customer demands. Rachael teaches and shows hunters and jumpers and we have a dressage trainers and clinicians come in to teach our dressage riders.
