SMF Performance horses believes firmly in training horses using the most natural, gentle and safe methods as possible. A horse will always accept new methods when asked in the proper way. A horse should never be punished for not understanding. Most often a horse will act up if it is confused as to what you are asking it to do. It requires a lot of patience but in the end a horse will respond a lot faster to your cues and will have a stronger bond with its owner if it can be understood and taught the right way.
