New Training Stable opened in May 2012! We are a small hunter and jumper training facility located in quiet Hampstead, Maryland in Carroll County, just 20 minutes from 795. We offer lessons to people of all ages, from beginner to advanced riders. Have your own horse? Trailer-ins are welcome! Skyline Training Stables also has openings for training, tune-ups, or rehabilitation. Yonah Miriam Schulman’s lifelong motto has been the Winston Churchill quote- “There is something about the outside of a horse that is good for the inside of a man". She began riding professionally in 1973. Over the next 25 years, she divided her time between competing jumpers and hunters at the national level and training horses, ponies, and riders. She also had a brief stint as a racehorse jockey in the late 1980's. Over the past several years, Yonah Miriam's resume includes working as a riding instructor at both Garrison Forest and St. Timothy's schools. In her teaching, she hopes to inspire both children and adults to develop compassion and appreciation for the noble horse.
