Sherwood Stables

Sherwood is owned and operated by Amy Talley Davis, along with the help and support of her husband Lance Davis. As a graduate from the University of Texas with a degree in Biology, Amy has been competing and teaching professionally for almost 11 years.
She is an L Graduate with distinction, and continues to work towards the next step in becoming a �r� judge. So far, Amy has earned her bronze medal and while an unfortunate injury to her horse left her two scores away from her silver, she has competed successfully in Region 9, qualifying and competing at championships.... (read more) She enjoys working with young horses with FEI potential, as well as, discovering the potential that every horse and rider has to offer. With a patient, understanding and positive attitude, Amy enjoys helping her students and their horses achieve their goals while keeping the environment fun and relaxing and postivie.
Her years as a working student with an accomplished trainer and judge exposed her to a better understanding for the sport of Dressage and the hard work, humility and respect that our horses deserve. Amy continues to train with her mentor on a weekly basis and enjoys riding with clinicians and learning from the horses on a daily basis.
