Sacred Stone Ranch offers close-in boarding with hundreds of acres for trail riding. We are located close to downtown, just east of IH 35 between William Cannon and Slaughter Lane.
Our property is at the end of a gravel road with year around access to hundreds of acres of trails. We are surrounded by Onion Creek, Onion Creek greenbelt and Spralding Park. We offer self-care, full-care and pasture boarding.
Self-care includes:
* A large run with or without a run-in shelter
* Option to turn-out in a large pasture
* Several hours a day of turn-out pasture
* Watering and salt blocks
* Lots of TLC for your horse
* We can feed and blanket for a small additional fee
Pasture boarding:
* Large pasture shared with other horses to provide companionship
* Free choice coastal hay, watering and salt blocks (we try to acquire organic hay)
* We can feed grain for you too, if needed, for an additional price
* Mineral/salt Blocks
Full-care includes:
* Large runs
* Shelters to enter/exit at liberty
* Daily turnout in pasture
* Unlimited free choice coastal hay
* Grain (1-2xs a day)
* Mineral/salt blocks
* Supplement feeding as requested/provided
* Blanketing, if necessary
* A close eye and lots of TLC
We offer additional services such as:
* Meet your farrier or vet when needed. A farrier who specializes in barefoot trimming visits every 2 months
* Grooming and baths
* Tackup and untack
* Exercising your horse
* On-site trainer
* Lessons
* Short term stall boarding
* "Hotel" or short -term boarding for traveling horses
* Park you trailer and trail ride for the day ($10 parking fee)
* Park your trailer, ride the trails and camp on our property for the weekend
We have a brand new 60ft horse round pen, 45ft round pen, hot walker and large areas to ride on the 27 acres as well as hundreds of park land. Our farrier, who focuses on barefoot trimming, visits the ranch every 2 months.
We have a trainer and instructor on-site. She practices natural horsemanship techniques while working with your horse and offers riding lessons for brand new riders through experience riders.
We are flexible and easy going, and we look forward to the opportunity to make your horse feel loved and happy and provide you with a great experience.
