We are located just 30 minuets east of Cedar Rapids, IA at 6379 Hwy 1, Martelle, IA.

Ron and Edna Wood started their horse business in 1970’s with both of their children – Clark and Shauna. The farm started out as a home for Quarter Horses and Belgium Draft horses. In 1993 the switch began from the large breeds to the purchase of our first three miniatures. Since 1993 Lakeview Miniatures has refined its herd to only the best in the Miniature horse industry.... (read more) Lakeview Miniatures bloodlines include “Buckeroo”, Gold Melody, Mickey Mouse, and Double Dutch bloodlines. We are excited to have these well know and proven industry leaders in our barn! Our entire herd is double registered (AMHA and AMHR) and produces double registered offspring that are refined, classy, sound and correct.
