KY Horse Rescue is a safe haven for horses that have been rescued, can no longer be taken care of, and have been surrendered.

The vision of the KY Horse Rescue is to be a safe haven for horses that are no longer wanted by their owners (owner surrender) or horses that have been taken to auction. We train and adopt them out to approved homes only.

We also run the Mustang Training Center which brings in BLM Wild Mustangs, trains them, and then adopts them out to approved homes.... (read more)

We take in horses in need of new homes, help get rescue horses back into shape, train, and find new loving and approved homes for these horses to go to.

Services Offered

Training: We are certified TIP trainers through the Mustang Heritage Foundation.

We bring in horses that have never had human contact, gentle them, and use natural horsemanship training techniques to break them for riding.

We also train horses that are brought in by individuals or who come into the rescue that need training.
