- I began riding when I was 8 years old and fell in love. When I was younger I was trained primarily in dressage and natural horsemanship. I owned my own horse for three years when I was in high school. I did not have much time for riding through college but afterwards I started working at an equestrian facility. I began as a working student and then in 3 months worked my way up to trainer/instructor. I spent the summer teaching there mostly beginner and some intermediate lessons in english. I mainly taught children as that is what all of my other work experience is in. While at that facility I also learned some basic western riding skills. At the end of the summer I had to leave due to financial reasons. Last year I moved to Georgia and I am looking for somewhere to work part time or to help someone out as an exercise rider.
