Heather has been riding and competing horses for 17 years and training for 11 years. Her training philosophy is a combination of natural and classical techniques. Her horses are exposed to natural and man-made obstacles to achieve complete trust in the rider/handler to be able to confidently handle anything on the trails or in the ring. Heather has competently climbed the levels in Dressage on her on home-raised and trained horse.
She has trained with many trainers in her career, including Chuck Schmidt (5 years), Pati Pierucci (short listed in the 2000 Olympics), Alex Chterba (Russian Olympic Trainer), Jenny Loriston-Clarke (Famous British Dressage/Eventing Olympian), Matt McLaughlin (Former Lippizan Stallion Show Head Trainer) and currently with Joe and Ruth Perez from Art of Riding in Silver Springs, FL....
