Horse Heaven Stable

Horse Heaven Stable has been in existence since 1993, opening originally in Bridgeville, Pa. In 1998 Gayle and Fred were able to purchase the present stable near California, Pa. With access to Rt-43 and I-70 it is only 30 minutes from South Hills, Washington, Pa. or the Rt.-51 area. The stable has continued to grow based on the quality of instruction and care to their horses. As a “B” rated U. S. I think fondly of the years in Pony Club as a teenager and still help with instruction to two major pony clubs in the area.
Mounted lessons are private or semi private in a balanced seat instruction. We stress solid basic skills, so we can start you in the western style as well.

Horse Heaven has been developing a breeding program for many years. We are pleased to be registered with the North American Sport Pony Registry. Our Welsh/Appaloosa stallion, Magnum Force has proven solid lines with temperament, movement, athletic ability, and color. Magnum and all mares can be seen at the stable. We stress the importance of training from birth on and will only breed 2-3 mares per year. We can tailor a program to fit your needs if you choose to purchase a young pony of your own.

I have a couple families in need of a good beginner pony, 12.2 - 13.2 H good manners and health. I also get many calls from people looking for that special first pony for their 5 to 8 yr. old. Since we specialize in athletic sport ponies, at present they are not old enough for beginners. Perhaps you or someone you know is looking for that special move up pony and would be interested in discussing a trade up.
