Kelly is from Arnold, Maryland. She attended the University of Findlay and completed the 4 year Western Equestrian Program. She has Bachelors Degrees in Business Management and Equine Science. Kelly rode on the university's Horsemanship team for three years, placing in the top ten in the nation two of those years.

Eli is from Findlay, Ohio. He has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from The University of Findlay and has over 10 years of experience working with small businesses in the Findlay area. Also, he was a member of the 2010-2011 Western Equestrian Team at Findlay that competed at Nationals in Lexington, Kentucky this past May placing in the top ten.
