I start horses under saddle and would consider the horses I train green broke by the end of 30 days. Refreshers on older horses are also welcome. My specialty is barrels and poles training.

Training: If you have an unbroke, belligerent horse that needs to become a productive member of the equine society or are looking to sell and want his value to increase, look no further.
I have an associate degree in equine business management and training. I have numerous, excellent references. I have also competed in trainers challenges and won champion for taking unbroke horses and putting 100 days of training on them.
Unstarted horses come in and are put through extensive ground work and desensitization for the first week- this includes packing the saddle- to gain respect on the ground that will transfer over to the saddle. After the first week the first ride is put on; and the process continues. Refinements are made with moving away from pressure and introduction to neck reining.
Although I do starting I do refreshers on older horses as well. They are also put through rigorous regimens of training including miles of trail riding.
My specialty is barrel racing and polebending training. I competed in NIRA while in college, the Wisconsin NBHA/IBRA, the OK ShootOut in Oklahoma City where my time was just out of the money in the 2D against very high caliber horses, as well as winning buckles and awards in area speed series. If your horse is already broke and you want to barrel race but don't know where to start I will put a solid foundation on for you to refine and finish.
While in training, your horse will be provided a high quality feed to ensure body condition remains up to par, due to the rigorous training schedule they will be put through.
