At Forest Gate Farms we strive to provide a natural, peaceful environment for your equine friend. We are a full service boarding facility. We turn out 6 1/2 days a week for approximately 10-12 hours a day and clean stalls daily. All horses are fed hay and grain twice a day. Our facility offers large indoor and outdoor arenas, individual and group turn out, round pen, heated and air conditioned viewing room and direct access to trails in the Blackberry Maples Forest Preserve.

Training
Shaun has over 25 years experience working with horses. He has extensive knowledge in starting horses under saddle, from young to old as well as training problem horses, whether it be due to fear or a lack of a desire to learn. He uses a gentle approach with the horses and incorporates a lot of ground work as well as time in the saddle into his training. He offers on site, 30-60 or 90 day training.
