Elk Run Farms

My dad is a farmer. He raises corn, beans, alfalfa, and cows. My sisters and I are the ones who are interested in horses. I have been riding since I was 7 and have had a horse since I was 9. My sister has an 13 year old APHA mare named BellaRich, she was trained for reining. I myself own 2 of our 3 horses. My 12 year old mare I bought in 8th grade when she was 5, she was unbroke but such a sweetie, her name is Krogs Silver Queen and she is AQHA registered & 100% FQHA bred.... (read more) I broke and trained her myself and am planning on breeding her this summer. My 2nd horse is my 4 year old filly that I bought in April 09. Her name is Pocos Paprika Pine, and is AQHA registered and 89% FQHA bred. She is my reining prospect and I plan to focus on that a lot this summer. I am currently attending Kirkwood Community College for Equine Science and am LOVING it!
