Downeast Dressage is committed to improving the equestrian skills of all riders and building the riding relationship between horses and riders of all equestrian disciplines. Classical dressage principles form the foundation for clear communication and partnership and enhance the performance and pleasure of each riding experience.
Our farm overlooks the Bagaduce River on the Blue Hill Peninsula in mid-coast Maine. We're an hour from Bangor International Airport and an hour from the mountains and scenic carriage roads of Acadia National Park on Mount Desert Island.

Our Training Program focuses on developing the horse's recognition of and responsiveness to the aids of classical dressage, resulting in improved conditioning and athletic development. A comprehensive program may include ground work, cavaletti and gymnastic jumping, and trail work.
