The Double L Ranch is located on 30 acres of bermuda grass pastures. The owners who live on site, founded the ranch in 2007. Lisa Yost has a degree in equine and ranch management with a minor in veterinarian science. Lisa is an accomplished rider winning multiple titles in hunter/jumpers including the Columbine Medal in Colorado. She also has earned world, reserve world and congress titles in Paint, Pinto, and Buckskin organizations in Pleasure Driving, Hunter-under Saddle, Hunter Hack, Jumping, Dressage, Western Dressage, Western Pleasure, Barrels, Keyhole and Flags.... (read more) Top Five earnings include Show Hack, Showmanship, Halter, Equitation, Horsemanship, Trail, Poles, and Stakes, and Working Hunter. She was Top Five in the nation for Paint as a Novice Amateur and held the title as Miss Promise Acres Rodeo Queen. She has received numerous year end and high point awards. Lisa offers lessons for beginning though advanced adults and children, all-around competitors, Hunters and Jumpers, as well as special needs riders, specializing in autism. Lisa has personally trained her school horses, many winning the above listed awards. It is easier to learn on finished show horses, allowing you to concentrate on improving your riding techniques. The Double L Ranch will match you with a school horse that will enable you to make the most progress during your lessons. Horses are available for lease and half leases for showing.
