DonBar Farms | Home of the Happy Horse Owners Don and Barb found a need for a horse boarding facility focusing on the horse; a facility which treated horses in a humane and loving manner and where the boarders to experience the tranquility of a country setting. In 1979, together they started DonBar Farm located just north of Chicago along the Wisconsin border. Today, DonBar Farm is one of the most pristine and caring horse boarding facilities offering heated, non-heated and pasture board, indoor and outdoor arenas, locally grown hay and top quality grain, individual feeding programs, lessons, training, and much more. Lesson types: Western; Hunt Seat; Dressage; Eventing; Jumping
All levels of riders are welcome including beginners and non-competitive/pleasure riders. Equal attention is given to these riders as to competitively showing riders.
We are looking to help horse enthusiasts learn about the many facets of horse sports and horsemanship including western, hunter/jumper, dressage, eventing and pleasure/trail riding. There is so much to learn from every discipline. Come join the fun!
