Cricket Hill Ponies

We are a small private pony farm with quiet and patient ponies and minis to teach children all about horsemanship. We also have sheep, chickens, dogs and cats to round out the menagerie. One of our ponies came from Chincoteague Island while another of our ponies can take children out for carriage rides through the property.

We keep our lessons to only 1 or 2 children at a time so that the child can learn at their own pace and not feel rushed to stay with the group.... (read more)

Horsemanship classes are offered in addition to riding lessons. In these classes children learn how to care for a pony and their equipment. Veterinary visits are covered as well diet and nutrition.

Children learn responsibility, compassion and patience in a safe and fun environment.
