Circle S Ranch and Outfitters

Circle S Ranch and Outfitters is located in the heart of the Illinois Valley, in ruggedly beautiful Southern Oregon. Situated in the middle of three Wilderness Areas (The Kalmiopsis, The Red Buttes, and the Siskiyou), its valley pastures and high mountain meadows are ideally suited to raising cattle and tuff mountain horses.

(read more) Following in this tradition, the Circle S is very proud of its cavvy as well, consisting mainly of Kiger Mustangs. These horses, with their stamina, disposition, and sense to savvy a cow have proven themselves to us as indispensable mountain/ranch horses.
The Circle S is proud to carry on many of the traditions of the "Old Californios" and Great Basin buckaroos (va-que-ros). Squeeze chutes and ATVs are left to rust in the rain, but you never have to look around for a rope. Every opportunity to bring our colts a little farther down the road to true usefullness is taken advantage of, whether it be sorting, branding, or just checking fences, we try not to get caught on foot.
