Christopher Fortson Stables grew out of a family business called Fortson Equestrian Group & Fortson Equine, an equine investment venture begun by the Fortson family in the late 1990's.

Christopher Fortson Stables specializes in the sales and marketing of young sport horses for the jumper market. We also market and sale Hunter and Equitation sport horses. We are dedicated to working with you to find the perfect horse and to provide the very best marketing for your sale horses. We also have room for a limited number of horses at our full service sales barn. If you choose to send your horse to us, they will receive fullcare service complete with showing, professional riding and marketing services.

For years CFS has evaluated,bought and sold many sport horses. Our experience with them has helped us develop an excellent eye for a sport horse, a keen understanding of bloodlines which in fact for show jumping is very important, and an astute realization of the market. Through all of this, we have forged some very strong relationships with some of the best breeders and trainers. This coupled with our knowledge of market trends and sales strategy, gives us confidence that we are important to the success of the equine athlete.
