My neighbors Registered Chesnut QH Stallion broke into my pasture and got to my mare..... I need to find a good home for my mare and her soon to be colt, i won't have the money to pay for them both, so it is in her best interest to have new home... She rides, stands for the farrier, loads, stands to clip bridal path. She'll walk, trot, and canter..... but do to her carrying a baby i don't force her into a lope i don't want to risk the unborn colt.... (read more) She does not have shoes on right now, but in the future i would advise front shoes she has sensitive feet on rocks and hard ground. She loves to go on trails she is more a trail horse than i round pen horse, she is one that likes the great open fields and taking long walks, you couldn't ask for a better horse on trails. She has been in the pasture for a bit, but since i have gotten on her she has been doing fine, but she may need help to remember a few things. She is my first horse and she has taught me everything i know in the past 3 years. I have been the only person on her since i got her, so it would take a bit to get used to a different rider and there ways, but once you get her home i'm sure she'll do fine. She does not back, she seems to have a fear. She is not the type of horse to rule the pasture she just tags along
