Specializing in Tennessee Walking Horses for pleasure and recreation. We also accept horses of other breeding who need to be perfected for trail and pleasure riding. Our training philosophy is that we believe in safe, humane, and patient handling of all horses. At Blackwater we do extensive ground work to help the horse develop their use of muscle though out their entire body to help to horse feel balanced and relaxed in his gaits at all times. We seek correct biting and farrier services for each individual animal to ensure that the horse is at ease whether on trails or in a show ring, to give his or her rider the best possible experience.
