Black Knight Dressage (BKD) is a newly formed business for horse training and lessons on your own property. Be in the comfort of familiar surroundings for both you and your horse. I am willing to travel all throughout Central Florida. I have 18 years of Dressage experience and am looking to further your, your horse's, and my career. (read more) I have toured the country with The "World Famous" Lipizzaner Stallions. I also rode as "The Knight" for University of Central Florida's Pegasus Mascot Program for 2 years while at UCF. I captained and rode for UCF's Intercollegiate Dressage Team for 3 years as the First Level (highest level offered in IDA) team rider and as an Open Rider my last year.

With the varied range of my experience I am comfortable in many different surroundings and circumstances. I strive for the horse to gain trust in me and himself to achieve successful rides, and have a successful riding career. I work primarily on positive reinforcement and repetition, while only resorting to negative consequences when a horse flat out refuses or becomes dangerous in anyway.

I have experience with horses of all skill levels, all ages, and all genders. I will work with stallions and young/green horses in need of the most basic training. I am also available to school/exercise older already trained horses who don't get the work they need, or who you simply want to advance.

I am available to take your horse to shows for exposure and experience either for schooling or competition. I will also travel with you to shows for show coaching.
