Battersea stallions and mares have been invited to many parades and events over the years, including the Inaugural Parade of President George H.W Bush, the World Pairs Driving Championship's Celebration of American Driving honoring H.R.H Prince Phillip at Gladstone, NJ, Stratford Hall Coaching Day, and our Bennett DeBoyd competed on the White House Grounds during the Reagan Administration, winning the single horse championship of theWashington International Horse Show Monumental Carriage Invitational Marathon. Battersea horses have been winners over the years at the Devon Horse Show Carriage Marathon. This fall our two year old colt, Battersea Xanadu. ribboned at Dressage at Devon's Breed Show and was one of the few Morgans in their open colt classes. Battersea Panda & Battersea Quentin, owned & drive by Earl Lloyd of Earleysville, Va won the Equine Blue Ribbon at the Historic Return Day Parade in Georgetown, Delaware celebrating the election of Vice-President Joseph Biden.
