Baroque Farms USA is owned and operated by Master Horseman Jean-Philippe Giacomini and his wife Shelley Smith Giacomini. Inspired by JP's mentor and first teacher Nuno Oliveira, JP and Shelley participate in the breeding and preservation of the lineage of the Lusitano Horse.

Over the last 20 years Baroque Farms USA has developed a unique breeding program based on a sophisticated mixture of the four fundamental Iberian bloodlines: Alter Real, Andrade, Bocado, and Veiga.

Jean-Philippe Giacomini is an international rider, trainer and coach. He operates out of Baroque Farms USA, a short distance from the World Famous Kentucky Horse Park.
JP travels internationally offering clinics and sharing his knowledge. He has trained a number of horses and riders to Grand Prix and Olympic levels.
JP offers horse training, private lessons, and clinics.
