Two trainers are available full time for all your needs, with over 55 yrs. of combined experienced with equines. With a holistic natural approach encompassing; massage therapy, acupressure, acupuncture, vitamin & herbal supplementation, always practicing positive reinforcement. A happy trusting horse, that is 100% sound, and experiencing no pain will give you everything they've got, both on, and off of the racetrack. To get the most out of you're horse you must put the best into them. Beginning with nutrition. Nutrition is so often overlooked, and assumed. Many trainer's are in the dark ages where nutrition & dietary needs of the horse are concerned. The study of equine nutrition is complicated. They perform better when fed a diet conducive to minimal lactic acid output allowing maximum muscle response without premature muscle fatigue. Which is why at the end of a mile a horse tires, and is unable to sustain the necessary pace to finish competitively. I cannot stress enough, the importance of feeding a healthy diet in performance horses, it all begins & ends there.
