The professional experience and unique approach you receive at aK Performance Horses will provide the traction necessary for athletes to hit the ground running. I personally work with each trainee to help them achieve their individual athletic goals. I push but I also motivate. Early on, I identify what each client is capable of with my goal being to help them reach, then exceed, that potential.

was born in Venezuela and began riding at the age of 5 on her family friend's cattle ranch.... (read more) When she moved to the United States her parents enrolled her into structured riding lessons to further hone her already undeniable passion and skills. She began at a barn in Spring, Texas learning about as many western style disciplines as she could. Her trainer decided she would benefit and excel greatly in the hunter/jumper ring and had her sign up with a trainer in Austin, Texas. She went on to earn many reserve champion and championships titles in the show ring on her own and her trainer's horses. She continued to travel back and forth between Austin and Spring to train with both trainers. Her western trainer gave her the opportunity to show an own son of the NRHA Hall of Fame Million Dollar sire Topsail Cody. It was at this point Amanda knew that reining was the discipline for her. She went on to work with and for some of the most notable owners and trainers in the reining horse industry. Her knowledge for training young horses and performing in the show ring quickly grew. Along with reining she also tried her skills at cutting and working cow horse. Since moving back to the Houston area she has decided to open her own lesson and training program to the public to share her extensive knowledge with the next generation of horseman and horsewomen.
