Imagine if you were abducted by aliens tomorrow, they spoke no English and even their body language was different. While you knew they wanted something from you, you weren't sure what, except that , on occasion, something you did caused their poking and nagging and hitting to stop. And with luck, they would put you in your cage and go away , as the supreme reward. Think how confused and frustrated you would be! However... to quote Alois Podhajsky, a longtime director of the famous Spanish Riding School of Vienna, "absence of punishment does not equal reward." Then a new alien shows up, he doesn't hit, instead, every time you do the right thing, he makes a particular sound and rewards you. How would you feel? About the training? About the alien? That is what clicker training is, teaching the horse that the click means "Yes, that's right!" And rewarding appropriate behavior. How would you feel in those circumstances? It can be used during the right strike off at the canter, loading, anything - think of the possibilities... We help you to learn how to train your horse to do anything (even taking out the trash is possible!!!) Or help you learn how to solve a particular problem. We are teaching this for love of horses and so strongly believe in it - that, if we cannot fix your problem, we will refund every penny!
