Five stars even with the stirrup issue!
This saddle is so very nice! It's handsome/pretty, very comfortable (size up your seat by 1-2 from a western saddle)and seems to be of good quality minus the buckle wraps. I got mine for a gaited horse (14.3 RM gelding) and the standard size is right- no gait interference either. The stirrups being way too long from other reviews is true and requires a bit more work than just punching a couple new holes, there's a design issue to work around which we accomplished in about an hour or so without damaging the stirrup leathers. You might as well just cut off the buckle wraps and throw them away. With all that negative being said, I still give it 5 stars because it is a great saddle that is worth that bit of trouble at even double or more the price! VERY happy with this purchase! Not to mention that HORSELOVERZ got it to me in just two days! It must be the stirrup issue that has this saddle so inexpensive - There's nothing else that's not perfect about it.

Nice Saddle!
This is my first aussie saddle and I have used it a couple of times. I really like the fit for both myself and my QH.

Saddles are Complicated
I am overall happy with this purchase even though it doesn't fit the horse I purchased it for. It sits perfectly on my quarter horse that has a standard topline.
Although my other horse is NOT considered to be a wide stocky quarter horse type, he requires a full quarter horse bared western saddle. So I purchased this saddle. The saddle fitter said If I build up the shoulders it's a decent fit for him. I rode in it once, and it's simply too all around wide. His spine was sore from the saddle making contact right under the girth strap over the seat.
Since I rode in it once, I can't return it for the 6.5 gullet narrow tree that he needs.
The leather and saddle are good quality! I will either need to have a leathersmith cut the stirup leather to fit my 28 inch inseam or see about replacing them. I think once the saddle fits me, I will enjoy riding in it.

Amazing saddle!
I bought this saddle on clearance and absolutely love it! Very first Australian saddle, wasnt expecting to get the over girth and under girth with it but did and was so happy. This is a very secure and comfortable saddle to ride in.

Autrailian outback saddle
This saddle is so well made with the embossed leather and the little details like the brass stirrups and the buckles on the saddle that look like horse shoes Such nice details. What a beautiful saddle. I will enjoy for many years. Thank you.

Saddle didn't fit
Unfortunately this saddle did not fit my horse in the withers. It's made for a stockier build than my Paint/Thoroughbred/Quarter Horse.

Great Aussie Saddle
This is a great Western/English saddle. It's unique with the birth and stirrups but I love it. I'll probably get another without the horn also.
