Dix Camelot Farms Equestrian center near Dothan,Al in off rt 231 in Cottonwood, offers riding lessons given by an experienced and successful instructor with over 40 years in the business. We have a program that teaches you HOW to ride and not just go for one. I teach all seats as well as English and Western Dressage, from Beginner riders through Advanced. All my riders learn how to ride correctly and no matter if you want to ride the trails or enter the show world, a basic solid foundation is needed in all.... (read more) We use a 120 ft round arena and a full sized 165 x 190+ ft Dressage arena for the lesson program with obstacles and jumping for beginners as well. Horses may be brought in for lessons by the owners as a haul in for the lesson. Dix Camelot Farms offers boarding for a limited number of outside horses in lush pastures. This is a quiet tranquil equestrian center where the riders and horses can focus on what they are here to do without having others to distract them. All lessons are private and ages are from 4 yrs old on our Mini horses to Sr .riders. we offer farm tours by appointment to those interested in joining our program and facility.
