Kathryn has experience starting young horses and training to Grand Prix. She has earned her USDF Gold, Silver and Bronze medals. She evaluates and works with each horse that comes to her as an individual, setting reasonable expectations and goals designed to encourage growth, without creating stress or anxiety. Horses in her program improve in balance, strength, and confidence. Kathryn will travel a reasonable distance for training, as her schedule allows, or horses may be boarded at Utopia Farm.

At Utopia Farm, we believe that horses should be horses in as natural an environment as possible. We prioritize full-day pasture turnout all year. Our human community is important to us too, and we're proud to have a supportive, drama-free group of clients who truly wish the best for all of the people and horses at the farm. Dressage training and lessons are offered but not required.
