What Does Husband Safe Mean?

Many horses tend to spook or scare very easily. If you aren’t an experienced rider, controlling a spooked horse and preventing yourself from being hurt can be difficult. A horse that is said to be husband safe is one that’s well behaved enough for an inexperienced rider (your husband) to control.

Other terms used to describe horses that are well behaved include quiet horses, bomb proof, kid safe and well broke.
