This is "BLACK CASHMERE", a gentle, smooth, thick made, and well broke BLACK ROCKY MOUNTAIN MARE. She is soft in the face, easy to stop, and goes where you ask her to go. She's 10 years old and stands a stout 15.2 hands tall. She is muscular with an attractive head and easy way of traveling. She has been used to check cattle and gather stock in the pastures. She has been trail ridden and been in big timber, deep water, and in the mountains.... (read more) She has stamina, can carry any size rider, and rides off nicely with no hump and no buck even with time off. She is solid and seasoned. She is traffic safe and been on the main roads. She will walk on a loose rein and walks out nicely. She is naturally gaited and will also canter when asked to do so. This mare has excellent ground manners, loads, stands tied, bathes, and hauls with no fuss. She rides out alone and gets along well with other horses.
