If you’re looking for granny safe, kid safe, slow, slow, slow, here she is!

Bell is a 14 year old solid black Percheron mare standing right around 16.2hh that’s slower than molasses in a glass jar on a frosty morning. She will pick up all of her gaits but the only one she holds long is the walk. You can do morning pilates on this horse at 6am, your kids can do flips off of her, she’s guaranteed slow.
She’s the kind I don’t like riding because the crawling ladybug is quicker than us, but she’s the kind I like the kiddos riding!... (read more) She’s like the video game that’s lagging 24/7. She doesn’t mind being left behind if she’s riding out with a group, if you need to turn back for any reason you won’t get to your destination quickly but she’ll do it without looking back for another horse!
Nothing is important enough to make this lady want to move at a quicker speed. Toss the kiddos on her or your 105 year old grandma and she’s the one that’s going to take care of them.
She drives as well! Single and double.
And like riding, anyone can drive her. She will back, stand all day, and walk on nicely when asked. She is completely traffic safe. She will drive with an open bridle or a pair of blinders.
If slow and steady is your top priority, this is her!
Bell stands tied to anything, stands to be groomed and doted on. She will pick up all of her feet, and she loads and travels great.
