Smart, fancy, safe, and budget priced in the 4s, this guy is ready to be someone’s next eventing prospect or foxhunter! Prefers to be forward but no naughtiness or vices.

He’s super broke with tons of driving experience that makes him unbothered by shenanigans (dirt bikes, dogs, 50 mph wind, hound packs, unidentified flying objects, etc), and he’s got lovely gaits to ride as well! He’s still learning the finer points of self carriage of course, but he’s got the basics and is easy off the leg, responsive to your seat, and is not dead in the mouth.... (read more)

Jumping 2’ happily, and he’s been foxhunting quite successfully, managing logs, ditches, small jumps, hills, water, gates, etc. He loves to go and has a lovely smooth canter, but he is still quite responsive! He’s going to be a blast on XC when I can get him out!

Does all the things a good citizen should: loads, ties, clips, crossties, stands nicely for farrier, easy to give vax/worming to, stands quietly in a stall away from home, easy keeper, pleasant ground manners.

Charlie would be perfect for a working student on a budget, or a kid ready to move off a pony who wants something with more energy but won’t be a jerk, or an adult amateur who wants a safe sensible project that they can learn with without worrying about naughty nonsense or getting dumped because their horse spooked at a cow in the next field.

Charlie sticks 15.2h, is 15 yo, happily barefoot so far, and is up to date on all vet stuff. Negotiable on price if he sells soon, before I start spending money on the spring show season ?. Located an hour south of Nashville TN. Can send some videos on request
