11 year old Friesian / Percheron cross gelding for lease. This dream horse stands 16.3 hands, Green broke for Dressage, rock solid for trail rides, and appropriate for any rider. Cody was an Amish farm horse that was trained to pull a carriage and farm equipment - single or double hitch. I bought him one year ago and have been working hard to help him trust people and know that he not just a piece of equipment & it's ok to take treats, and scratches are a good thing!!... (read more) He has a huge heart and a willing work ethic - he really wants to understand what is being asked of him and to please. He has never offered to rear, buck or act ugly. He stands for the farrier and loads in the trailer. He is current on his shots and vetting. Cody would be perfect for someone that is looking for a horse to grow with and help guide him as he himself is learning. Under saddle he stands to be mounted, walk, trots, and is working on his canter - right now her cues to canter from the trot. All of his gaits are big and beautiful to ride and watch. A knee injury is what has forced me to try and find someone that is a good match for him for the season.
