Very Excited to bring you this awesome, one-of-a-kind, athletic Friesian Cross gelding for your consideration. Rawhide is a 7-year-old, registered Friesian Sport Horse gelding that stands 15.2 hands tall. He is a beautiful Bay with a sweet kind eye. Rawhide was a fun and easy horse to take through our program… He has such a willing personality and wants to please you in all that he does. He has three very smooth gaits and has been ridden by anyone of any level.... (read more) He has a nice uphill canter, and a very smooth trot that you can ask to extend or shorten for your liking. He has been on lots of trails and will cross creeks, go over bridges and is easy to ride in heavy traffic. He has been ridden out alone and will go right off the farm with no hesitation. He also rides well in a group and does not mind if he is the leader or ridden somewhere in the middle. He walks right onto the trailer and comes off just as quiet. He is easy to keep in the stall and out in the pasture as he does not have any bad habits. He is wearing shoes all around because of where we ride him. He stands great in the crossties for the farrier and the vet and for grooming as well. Rawhide has been ridden around lots of different animals and does not mind anything new that is thrown at him. He has been a very awesome horse to have as we know that we can trust him with any rider on his back.
