Meet Epona, she is a beautiful Haflinger Mare, Standing at 13.3h. She needs someone who can ride her more often than I’m able. She would benefit well from someone who is an experienced rider as she is a bit green under saddle. Selling at no fault of her own. She rides English or western. She has three comfortable gaits. More go than whoa and she likes to work. She was an Amish horse and was said to drive though hasn’t been hooked up here.... (read more) She loves kids and is safe around my 3 year old and my 11 year old enjoys riding her bareback while I lead her around at a walk. I also enjoy riding her bareback around the yard with her bridle on at a walk. She has a mellow disposition.

She lives out on pasture with a run in with another gelding and shes an easy keeper. Respects fences. Not mareish, she is good on the ground, Barefoot, has good feet and is sure footed. She is good for the vet and farrier. Ties and stands well. Trailers well. She can ride out alone but she prefers to have company. She is not spooky.

She has a super sweet personality and temperament and really bonds with her person.

Epona could excel in any direction with more time under saddle. She is smart and talented. She would make a great hunter pace prospect, trail horse, cart horse, pleasure horse, western or English prospect, the sky’s the limit with this girl. All her shots and coggins are up to date. Tested negative for tuberculosis and brucellosis.
