Poco Dakota Rey, is a coming 6 year old buckskin gelding. Dakota stands approximately 15 hands tall and is as pretty as they come. You don’t see many buckskins colored up like he is!... (read more) Dakota has that super friendly puppy dog personality without a mean bone in his body. He absolutely loves attention and is always the first to meet you at the gate. Dakota is super easy to ride with a nice one hand neck rein, a smooth trot and a slow, smooth rocking chair lope. Dakota has been rode extensively on trails all over, done some ranch work, and arena rides really nicely with a good foundation in western ranch riding. He has a big stop, picks up both leads and has a nice head set. I believe any level rider would absolutely love Dakota. He is level headed and is relaxed and forgiving.
Dakota would make a fantastic trail partner, as he can lead, follow or go out alone on trails with ease. He is sure footed and goes through the mud and creeks. He would also make a fantastic ranch pleasure show horse, or lesson horse.
Dakota has great ground manners and is easy to lead, bath, great for the vet and farrier. He will stand quietly anywhere you put him, he loads and trailers nicely. Dakota has no vices, he is sound and not spooky. He has a current coggins and vaccinations.
