Meet Marvel??♂️
This thick slick and sound sorrel gelding is looking for a new zip code! Marvel is so special, at only 5 years old he is safe and sane enough for any level rider! He stands 14.3hh, with clean legs, good teeth, eyes, and amazing feet! He has the best personality I have ever seen in a horse truly a puppy dog! Marvel is a Quarter horse through and through and his sire is said to be SM Smart Boon dam was not registered sadly!... (read more) He is also the easiest keeper you will have in your barn! We believe that Marvel would make a phenomenal addition to a lesson barn as he has a quiet demeanor and calm temperament! Also would make a potential candidate for 4H! He is 110% a confidence booster! He will go western or English! We have done lead line lessons on him at the walk and trot, English lessons, including lending him to whorton bend stables because they were down a lesson pony! This guy has an amazing mouth, you can ride him with a long loose rein or if you want you can ride him with a tighter rein! He will two hand ride or neck rein! He knows how to yeild and side pass as well! He has just started over fences and is very willing!! He loves trot poles and will take his rider straight to them! He has a beautiful walk trot and canter! No Buck rear or bolt! He will pick up both his right and left leads, he does have lead changes but they are not automatic yet! Now to his western accolades, marvel has been on obstical courses, ponied my performance horses, miles of trail rides (you point him where you want to go and he goes), over logs, through water, up hills etc, over night rides, pushed cattle three times, lightly started on the barrels and will lope the pattern (great for someone wanting to learn them slow), roped off in the pasture by a younger boy, tracked the dummy! Marvel is gentlemen on the ground and has great ground manners! He is good for the farrier, stands to be bathed and groomed, stands to be tacked, lunges both directions w/t/c, a good boy for the vet, stands tied, pastures or stalls etc! He is the same horse on and off property!
