Rio carries himself with confidence and is an elegant mover. He has been ridden by experienced youth riders and is very patient with anyone on his back.

He is confident and surefooted out on the trails, crossing anything you ask him to. He goes over logs, through water, across obstacles, and traffic safe to ride down the roads. Been ridden through the woods and is careful when going across rocky terrain. He stands tied to be bathed, saddled, and bridled.
Rio has a great handle and is fun to ride! He trots and lopes around like a dream with a draped rein and low headset. He naturally wants to stop big and does a correct turnaround. He passed a pre-purchase exam on 3-10-2025.
