Butterscotch stands 16 hands & weighs 1300lbs. But don't worry about his size he will side pass to a picnic table, truck bed, log, or trailer fender to make mounting easy. You couldn't ask for a better horse. He loves the trail obstacles and enjoys playing with the tarp, flag, and noodles. He's great with dogs and good with traffic. He's been to hundreds of shows and seen the busy atmosphere. Butterscotch has several world titles & holds more then 200pt in AMATURE EVENTS in the Palomino Association in Equitation, Horsemanship, Hunt-seat, Showmanship, Halter, & Western Pleasure. If you dream of winning blue ribbons, Butterscotch can make those dreams come true. He has extensive training in Hunt-Seat Western Pleasure, & Showmanship. He also has all the fancy buttons, but he is honest and simple to ride. He's absolutely the same horse every time you step on him. Great for any Novice, Amateur, or beginner. If your looking to get into the ranch shows, Butterscotch can do that too. He has a big beautiful long trot when asked for. You can even pull logs and throw a rope off him. If you enjoy ground work Butterscotch is a blast to work on the ground from lunging to halter-less showmanship. Butterscotch has the best confirmation and will do exceptionally well in Halter classes. Butterscotch is easy to clip and stands for the farrier. Loads in and out of any type of trailer. Stands great at the trailer for day shows and stalls well for long weekend shows. Butterscotch also enjoys trail riding. He's spent the last 2 years packing his owner down the trail & around the farm. He crosses water & logs with ease, handles ditches like a pro. At Pleasant Valley Equine we work diligently with select horses so that we can be confident and proud to offer them to the public. We focus on producing safe, honest, and family oriented ranch horses. Our program has brought together many horses and clients to make idea partnerships that are rewarding for us as well as our client. Jessica Bunch is originally from Virginia but working with horses brought her to Kentucky. Jessica reside in Henderson county with her husband Jacob Littlepage and their young son, Sonny. She holds a BS degree with a focus on Western Equestrian Studies and a minor in business, from the University of Findlay, located in Ohio. She has 15 plus valuable years of professional equine experience working under several well known NRHA & AQHA trainers. Jacob is from Kentucky where he was born into a cow-calf operation. He has been around horses his entire life, learning and gaining experience from an early age working along side family. He also oversees an important part of the horses health as our farrier with 15+ years experience.
