Artemis aka Arty - 6YO Percheron Gelding

This guy is the coolest guy on the east coast. He is OVER 19H , and is a grass puppy. Loves people , loves being loved on, treats, follows you, very easy to catch and comes when called. Very in your pocket, just wants to be with you ?

He is broke to ride and drive, was used on a dairy farm and carriage company out of Shipshewana. He is shod on all 4 I will probably have those pulled on Wednesday.... (read more) Loads / unloads like a dream though he isn’t the biggest fan of trailers. He will get on but once on he will paw and carry on if no buddies on board.

He is NOT spooky. Easy to handle, gentle in EVERY way very solid gelding. Someone has put a LOT of time and training on him.

Not only does he have the brains but he has the bronze! He is confirmationally correct with excellent muscle tone. A GREAT body score has been and will continue to be very well fed & taken care of.

A touch sore from pulling but sound. You can see his shoes are loose, he probably hasn’t had them reset in a couple of months. Drill tech worn to nothing he’s put a LOT of pavement miles on those shoes - He did come from an Amish farm!

No lumps , bumps, or blemishes. He is easy on the eyes, and is a FABULOUS mover. He is hitch type and has a great flashy extended trot.

He would make an excellent 4H, show, carriage, or trail horse! This is a gelding that can go in ANY direction , young, well put together with his whole life ahead of him. They don’t come like this every day folks, he is for sale not on sale. He has been the only Percheron of this caliber I’ve brought in this year.
