“Turbo Turtle”

Turtle is a very sweet boy and overall an extremely tolerant horse. He is a wonderful horse for kids and very cut out to be a first horse. Currently, Turtle has been fully sound in light work but in the past struggled with his navicular which concluded his jumping career. It is very manageable but it’s in his best interest to be a trail horse, lower level dressage horse, or just help a kid learn the ropes of riding!... (read more) He was originally western broke (has been ridden english for the last 2 years) so I don’t see why he couldn’t do things in that area as well. An overall low maintenance horse, as of now he is in two front shoes with leather pads to help with the navicular. Turtle behaves off property just as he would at home. When he used to event and go to other types of shows with me he always retained a calm attitude and didn’t have much care for the new surroundings. After buying him as my first horse I absolutely fell in love with him, my top priority is to give this boy the best home possible- it would shatter me to see him go somewhere that doesn’t care about him.
