(read more) Chavez has been my main mount for the last 6 years, he is the same horse every time, give him time off with no issue. He has numerous ranch rodeo wins under his belt, has picked up ranch broncs, carried multiple flags for rodeos, and will switch ends team roping. Chavez will fit any level of roper or rider. He is a personal favorite of our 8-year old sons to ride. We use him for our guests and the more novice riders that come to the ranch, he is safe for truly anyone. He will side up to a fence, trailer, or mounting block for you to get on. This gelding has done it all, and takes it in strides. He is the one I catch to get the job done or haul to town. From moving cows, riding on yearlings, the branding trap, feedlot, doctoring outside alone or with others. Load one by yourself, step off and work your rope, or take him down the trail with your friends or alone. Hobble broke, wears a size 4 shoe, good to bathe and haul. Has a cosmetic scar on his neck from a stud bite as a baby, does not affect his soundness. Chavez has been hauled from Montana to Arizona. He will take care of you, wherever you may find yourself.
